People of faith recognize the moral imperative to protect our planet and its inhabitants from the ravages of climate change. Summer of Heat’s Faith Week is our moment to use the unique moral standing to demand that financial institutions divest from fossil fuels and invest in a sustainable future. During the week of July 29th, we will draw on our shared values of stewardship, justice, and compassion to lead peaceful demonstrations that compel economic leaders to abandon fossil fuels and invest in a healthier, more equitable world for all.
