With nearly 100 community organizers and frontline leaders from the Gulf South travelling to New York for Gulf South Solidarity Week, we will be organizing an action and press conference at Citi’s HQ on Monday, a civil disobedience action at an insurance company headquarters on Wednesday, and a Mass March and Mass Civil Disobedience on Friday.

The largest action of the week will be the Gulf South Rising, Fossil Banks Sinking March and Mass Civil Disobedience on Friday, June 28th. We will march from Wall Street to Citibank’s HQ where hundreds of us will engage in nonviolent civil disobedience in what we expect will be one of the largest mass climate civil disobedience actions in this country for several years.
